RAFAEL BARLOWE - FEBRUARY 11, 2017

Svi Mykhailiuk has been on the radar for what it seems like forever. He's got great size at the SG position and he's a better athlete than what he's probably given credit for. Even though I feel like he was at KU with Mario Chalmers, Svi is still only 19. He sets his feet quickly and he's deadly when he's wide open. Defensively, Svi gives effort and should have the size to do a good enough job defending shooting guards.

I don't know what else he can do. He's been limited to being a spot up shooter at KU. Can he shoot on the move? Pin downs? Can he make plays? I really feel like he'd be a mid first round pick if we hadn't seen him for 3 years already.

POSITIVES:

Great size

Shooter

Good athlete

Still really young

Sets his feet quickly

Does a good job contesting jumpers

AREAS OF CONCERN:

Can he do anything else?

Can he shoot on the move?

Can he make plays?

Average wingspan
