  • Good shooter than can play on or off the ball

  • Fast and fluid

  • Has some vertical pop and explosiveness

  • Shifty, creative ball handler

  • Good court vision and passing instincts

  • High IQ, good decision making and feel for the game

  • Solid rebounder from PG position

  • Plays at excellent pace and changes speeds

  • Good positional  size at 6'3"

  • Offensive package ( stop and pop, pull up jumper off the dribble soft touch finishes)

  • Can split P&Rs

  • Good at driving, passing and relocating to the open spots to shoot similar to Steph Curry

  • Competitive

  • Lacks ideal length and wingspan

  • Must get stronger

  • Good shooter, but must improve consistency from 3 point line

  • Struggles one on one vs athletic and explosive guards

Nico Mannion may not be the most physically gifted point guard in a deep class, but in my opinion he's the most complete player of the bunch on the offensive end of the floor. Mannion is high level playmaker that can make every pass you'd like from your floor general. He's also a knockdown shooter from 3 that is capable of shooting off the dribble, in spot up situations or coming off screens.

Mannion is capable of making highlight reel passes and dunks, but his lack of physical tools will likely be held against him and unpolished players with more "upside" will be drafted ahead of him.
