Kobi Simmons has good size and athleticism for a combo guard. He's got a very good first step and I want to think of him as more of a slasher than a combo guard as he never really displayed much of a floor game. He's got a lot of potential as a defender due to his athleticism. 

 

I don't think he should have hired an agent. He was pretty good before Allonzo Trier was cleared by the NCAA, but his flaws are still evident. He's a shaky jump shooter and he doesn't finish particularly well in traffic. He's often way out of control on drives to the basket and he could stand to develop a floater. He might get a look because of his natural ability but he's got a lot of work to do. Another year would have definitely boosted his stock in a weaker draft class for guards.
