Derrick White already has a great pre draft story. He's gone from overlooked D2 star to potential NBA prospect. He's a very good shooter and can score at all 3 levels. White plays the PG position under control and is very good at changing speeds. He's sneaky athletic, too. He's got a lightning quick release. 

 

He's definitely going to get the "deceptively quick" label which means he's not going to wow you with his in game athleticism, though he will dunk occasionally. He's listed at 200 lbs but he's built like Kevin Martin. With his slight frame and average athleticism, he might struggle to finish in traffic. He's already 22 so he might have limited upside. How good of a playmaker is he?
